Sculptures of Kavala
An interactive map with the statues, monuments, memorials and inscriptions of Kavala. Each sculpture has got its exact location on the map, photographs and notes about the written elements on its surface in both Greek and English.
This
project gives the opportunity:
- pupils/
students to seek more information about the heroes whose memory we honor in Kavala,
getting to know those who are not mentioned in school books, to understand the
importance of memory and the value of historical knowledge.
- tourists
to read in English the names of the sculptures and the written elements on their
surface.
